2nd Tuesday Critique

The second Tuesday meeting of the Ludington Writers will be an in-person short story (1000 words or less) and poetry critique (works-in-progress only - no finished or published pieces).

A meeting of the LW Board will precede the critique. Board members are asked to arrive at 6:30 PM. Non-board members are always welcome.

Critique is open to the public, but we ask those wishing to attend virtually to please send their submissions and/or requests to listen-in to LudingtonDriftwood@gmail.com by noon on the Monday before the meeting.

We only discuss works-in-progress for which you desire feedback. No published or otherwise finished pieces – maximum of two poems per person or no more than 1,000 words of prose.

  1. Please do not attend if you have any of the following symptoms: fatigue, runny nose, sore throat, headache, or cough.

  2. Masks are optional but encouraged for everyone, but especially those unvaccinated.

  3. Bring at least 14 copies (double spaced if prose), minimum 14 pt. font. Copies can be made in the office beside the Minty room, but please arrive 5-10 minutes early if you need to make copies.

REMINDER: A minimum donation of $2 per participation is suggested. This is not expected from first time attendees. Anything collected over the $2 help fund our scholarship and sponsorship!

Each presenter will be limited to 5 minutes to present his/her work & 5 minutes for commentary.
